Hello! I’m Daniela Frongia, an illustrator and visual artist specialising in expressive character-driven storytelling and hyperrealistic airbrush painting.
With over 11 years of experience across children’s publishing and fine art, I create emotionally rich imagery with a strong focus on atmosphere, cinematic lighting and vibrant, detailed rendering.

My work has been published internationally in Airbrush Step by Step (including a cover feature), Be Artist, Dessin d’Anatomie, and will appear in Character Design Quarterly (CDQ) in 2026.
I have also been recognised in competitions such as Sketch for Survival (Highly Commended), Hiii Illustration Awards, and the FIIN Nature Drawing Exhibition in Portugal.

I collaborate with authors, publishers and creative teams who share a passion for expressive, heartfelt, and visually compelling storytelling.
